Ever since IPL 2021 came to a halt, the future of Indian cricket and its upcoming fixtures have been in doubt. Fans had been curious to know whether India is playing the WTC final against New Zealand as per schedule or not. There were also many questions about when IPL will resume again.

However finally, BCCI President Sourav Ganguly has made a big statement about India’s next big tour and the future of IPL. He was quoted by Crictracker saying,

“India is supposed to go to Sri Lanka for three ODIs and five T20Is. There are lots of organizational hazards like 14-day quarantine. It can’t happen in India. This quarantine is tough to handle. Too early to say how we can find a slot to complete the IPL.”
