Few months back, Indian cricket team made history down under in Australia. Without the presence of Virat Kohli and many senior players and after trailing in the series 0-1, India made a blockbuster comeback to register a test series win to make the final series score appear 2-1 in favour of India.

Months after the loss, Australian Test captain Tim Paine has made a big statement regarding the ‘reason’ of their humiliating defeat. Tim was reportedly quoted by news.com.au as saying,

“Part of the challenge of playing against India is they’re very good at niggling you and trying to distract you with stuff that doesn’t really matter and there were times in that series where we fell for that,”Tim Paine said, as quoted by news.com.au. “The classic example was when they said they weren’t going to the Gabba so we didn’t know where we were going. They’re very good at creating these sideshows and we took our eye off the ball.”

This has resulted in netizens have multiple opinions. While some feel it’s just an excuse he’s making, others feel he is justified.
