As per the latest reports in NDTV Sports, the BCCI has proposed a 6-team Women’s IPL from next year. Reports reveal that as of now, it is just a proposal and it hasn’t reached the implementation stage yet. However, given the kind of following that Women’s cricket has received in the recent past, it can certainly be safe to say that the games will attract humongous viewership.
