Rishabh Pant is one of the most admired and loved young cricketers in the country. He’s been in red hot form in the last few years for real and that’s why, he’s managed to do well in quite literally every format of cricket that he’s played. His fan following over the years has risen to a tremendous extent and no wonder, we are supremely proud of him for everything that he’s earned. He’s extremely talented and has risen the ranks over the years courtesy hard work, dedication and consistent display of skills. Off-late, Rishabh Pant has played some memorable innings that have helped team India win important and crucial games for the country. Some time back, we were really sad after hearing about the mishap that he had to go through.
Rishabh Pant, as we all know, unfortunately had a really terrible car accident post which he was admitted to a local hospital for treatment. Post that, Rishabh Pant was brought to Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai where he even had a successful knee surgery. Owing to the injury, he already missed the cricket series against Sri Lanka and in all probability, will miss the series against Australia as well.
A lot of Delhi Capitals fans were wondering if Rishabh Pant would be available to play the tournament this year or not. Well, the sad update provided by Sourav Ganguly is that Rishabh Pant won’t be available for IPL 2023. He was quoted as saying,
“Rishabh Pant will not be available for the IPL. I am in connection with Delhi Capitals. It will be a great IPL (for the team), we will do well but Rishabh Pant’s injury will affect the Delhi Capitals.”
