Perry knocked Pooja Vastrakar in the 143rd over of the third day, giving her 300th wicket in international cricket across all three forms. In addition, the all-rounder became the first woman ever in the history of cricket to score a total of 5000 runs in her career.

Perry has 3,135 runs and 152 wickets in WODIs thus far, while she has 1,243 runs and 115 wickets in T20Is. As for the all-rounder that she is, Perry was the first player in T20I history to achieve 1000 runs and 100 wickets. She presently holds the record for the highest Test score by an Australian woman (213 not out) and was the third player in women’s ODIs to take 150 wickets.
