Amidst all the coronavirus panic and scare, an important happening in the cricketing fraternity went unnoticed. The latest coming from the cricketing world is that veteran cricketer Sanjay Manjrekar has been removed by the BCCI panel from his commentary contract, as per media reports.
Although the reason is not yet known as to why he has been removed, speculations and grapevine suggest that Manjrekar’s recent controversies with Ravindra Jadeja and fellow commentator Harsha Bhogle have to do something with his ouster. While his ‘bits & pieces’ comment on Jadeja didn’t go well with ‘Jaddu’ as the latter lashed back at him for the same on Twitter, his verbal feud with Harsha Bhogle during the 1st pink ball test in Kolkata wasn’t appreciated much either.
