A major development has surfaced online about the upcoming film Peddi: the leading lady, Janhvi Kapoor, who will appear as the love interest, Achiyamma, of the character Peddi, played by Ram Charan, has chosen not to be part of the film’s promotional events. Yes, you heard that right! Janhvi has opted out of the promotions of the Telugu sports drama reportedly by Deccan Chronicle.
There has been no official confirmation regarding this from the makers of the actress herself. But the absence of Janhvi from the promotional events has sparked discussion and confusion. For the unversed, Janhvi Kapoor and Ram Charan paired for the first time on-screen, and fans are eagerly awaiting seeing them together.
But there is a different story to it as reportedly Janhvi has limited role in the sport action drama film and due to this the makers of Peddi gave the actress an option whether she wants to join for the promotion or not and Janhvi chose not to be part of the promotions and this is because she does not want audiences to form unrealistic expectations about her part in the film.
In addition, the reports also revealed why Janhvi accepted such a role, and it suggested that Janhvi agreed to be a part of the film as the makers paid her much more than what she usually gets in the Hindi cinema.
