The Tokyo Olympics 2020 have officially begun and the Indian contingent is certainly putting their best foot forward to make the country proud. Sports is all about ups’ and downs’ and that’s exactly how India’s journey has been so far as of now. So to keep you all updated, we share the major Olympics update for you

India has defeated New Zealand with a final score of 3-2 in the Olympic opening clash and fans are certainly super happy. It was a good day for the Indian contingent at the Archery competition as Deepika Kumari and Pravin Jadhav successfully reached the quarter-finals of the Archery mixed event and have started well. ‘Shooter’ Saurabh Chaudhary too made India proud as he qualified for men’s 10m air pistol final. Meanwhile, it was a disappointment for all lovers of Table Tennis as Manika Batra and Sharath Kamal lost to third seeds of the Chinese contingent and with that, India’s medal hope for the Mixed Doubles event ended too.

Here’s hoping the Indian contingent continues to wow fans with their skills. We wish them good luck. For more updates, stay tuned to IWMBuzz.com
