Remember when former Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) captain David Warner would thrill his social media followers by posting dancing videos to Indian songs? If not, check out the Australian batting sensation’s recent Instagram story to re-live some of the last lockdown’s memories.

While stranded in an Indian hotel room, Warner released videos of himself dancing with his wife and daughters to popular Indian songs on TV. Butta Bomma, Shaitan Ka Saala, Muqabla, and Sauda Khara Khara are among the songs on the list. Warner captioned the Instagram photo, “Some of my memories here.” Warner is currently trapped in India, waiting to return home to his family after the IPL was postponed.

Warner arrived in India last month to compete in the 14th edition of the Indian Premier League. The BCCI, however, canceled the lucrative competition on Tuesday after a couple of franchises’ bio-bubbles were breached, notably Sunrisers Hyderabad’s, where Wriddhiman Saha tested positive for COVID-19.

Warner’s wife, Candice, posted a heartfelt message on social media shortly after the IPL was postponed. Candice shared a photo of their eldest daughter Ivy’s sorrowful painting, in which she asked “Daddy” to come home soon, expressing how much they miss and love him. “My gorgeous Ivy so much love @candywarner1 #family,” Warner wrote in a retweet.

Before the tournament was postponed, Warner was removed as Sunrisers Hyderabad captain in a surprising decision made just before the penultimate match of the IPL 2021. After a string of bad performances, the 2016 winners were forced to make the decision.
