Nadia Nadim, the 33-year-old is an amazing professional footballer who represents the country Denmark, the girl is something you wouldn’t believe. Her tragic story is something to be told for decades in Denmark, it has been an inspiration for many young talented aspirations. Nadia Nadim is considered one of the most influential athletes in the world, also known for her amazing contribution in the victory of the French League title 2020-21 with the club Paris Saint Germain. Her childhood is termed as trauma and is distraught. Nadia who was born on the 2nd of January 1988 comes from a small village Herat from Afghanistan. Her father who was reported to be a general in the Afghan Army was mutilated by the Taliban when she was just 11 years old, the little girl’s heart was shattered into pieces.
Along with her mother and four sisters, she escaped from Afghanistan to Pakistan with fraudulent passports from where her family was offered a way to Europe. “We planned to escape to London, where we had a few relatives, and with forged passports, we came to Italy through Pakistan,” she writes on her site.
Denmark was the country that gave her family a new home, she began her career as a football player after her debut for the Danish National Team in the Aalborg Championship club. She then helped her team lead to numerous victories and she earned her name after the impressive goal of her career in the 2017 European Championship. Nadim is managing her time training to become a surgeon at the Aarhus University. Her story is inspiring!!!
