Harmanpreet Kaur is a very famous Indian professional woman cricketer who plays a very important role being the captain of the Indian National Women’s Team. The captain plays the role of the best all-rounder, Harmanpreet is one of the few Indian cricketers to have won the Arjuna Award for her contribution to the sports in the year 2017 by “Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports”. In the year 2018, she became the first Indian woman to score a century in the T20 International Cup. Harmanpreet also completed her 100 International T20 appearances as an Indian female player.

Born in a village named Moga in Punjab, Harmanpreet was brought up in a family where Volleyball and Basketball are running in her blood. Her father was a professional Volleyball as well as a Basketball player. Her young sister has post-graduate English and working as an assistant teacher at Guru Nanak College in her home village. Harmanpreet Kaur took interest in cricket after joining Gian Jyoti School Academy. Harmanpreet Kaur has always considered Virender Sehwag and Ajinkya Rahane as her batting idols. Harmanpreet Kaur made her debut in the ODI against Pakistan in World Cup.

She also became the first Indian to sign a contract for ECB’s Kia Super League with the team Surrey Stars. Her amazing score of 171 runs against the team Australia is the second-highest after her teammate.
