The South African cricketer, Anrich Nortje is one of the fastest emerging cricketers in international cricket. He has done wonders in a span of one year. It was 2019 when Anrich Nortje made his debut in international cricket. In July 2020, he was also awarded the newcomer of the year at Cricket South Africa’s annual awards ceremony. Anrich Nortje is a great right-arm fast bowler. Other than playing for the South African national team in the international field, he has also played in domestic tournaments. Anrich Nortje has also played in the Indian Premier League (IPL) and has been a part of it since 2019. In 2019, he was bought by the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) but was ruled out later for his injury. In 2020, he came back as a massive power for Delhi Capitals.

Anrich Nortje is one of the finest and fastest bowlers that a tournament can ever have. In the 30th match of the IPL, on 14 October 2020, he bowled at the speed of 156.22 km/h (97 mph), which is the fastest delivery in the history of IPL.
