Steve Smith is an Australian international cricketer and former captain of the Australian national team. Smith is consistently rated as one of the top-ranked Test batsmen in the world, according to the ICC Player Rankings. The Australian Cricketer has played for many teams in IPL but captained for Rajasthan Royals. He has been phenomenal in IPL with his batting and fielding. Smith was supposed to lead Rajasthan Royals this year in the IPL, however, the outbreak of Coronavirus suspended everything.
The cricketer is probably missing travelling and IPL as he shared a throwback picture from 2014 when the IPL was hosted in UAE for the first 20 matches. The picture Smith shared was from the Arabian deserts. The cricketer and his wife are seen happily posing for the picture in the desert. Smith captioned the picture saying, “Throwback to nights in the Arabian Desert during the 2014 IPL with @dani_willis #tbt” Well, all of the cricketers, as well as the audience, are missing IPL which was supposed to begin in March. We are hopeful that IPL will happen in the later months of the year.
