Cristiano Ronaldo is one of the most talented and dedicated football players the world has ever seen. He is well-known for many things, but his abilities stand out above all others. You’ve come to the correct place if you want to learn some of the abilities that have made Cristiano Ronaldo one of the greatest players of all time. Here are a few of Ronaldo’s favorite moves, as well as when and how to use them.

Stepover Chop

To make a stepover, place one foot over the ball. With your instep behind your standing leg, ‘chop’ the ball with your other foot. To chase down the ball, change directions.

Ronaldo Stepover

By shifting your weight to your weaker foot, the ball will be positioned off-center in front of you. Push the ball forward with your instep with your other foot before flinging your foot around it clockwise. Move-in that way by pushing the ball with your weaker foot.

Ronaldo Chop

Jump over the ball while running with one leg outstretched. When landing, use this foot to push the ball with your instep. As the ball moves in that direction, make sure your other foot stays out of the way. To follow the ball, make a fast turn in the other direction.

Elastico

Shift your weight to one side while dipping your shoulder in that direction. With the opposite foot, push the ball away from your body. Move the same foot around the ball so that it is outstretched, and drag the ball back towards you with your instep in one continuous motion. Push off in that direction using your body weight.

CR7 Fake Move

Place one foot over the ball and drag it back when you come to a halt. Dangle the same foot over the ball and move it side to side as the ball rolls back as if you’re ready to perform a talent. Pull your foot back quickly and knock the ball back in the direction you were going, accelerating away from your marker.

Reverse Elastico

Begin with your legs open and the ball slightly in front of you. Prepare to move off in the opposite direction by planting your standing foot. Push into the ball with your instep with your dominant foot, then move your foot around the ball and push with the outside of your foot in one smooth action.

Ball Roll Chop

Place the ball slightly off-center front of you and in front of you. Roll one foot over the ball from out to in, causing it to move across your body. Chop the ball with your instep with your other foot, sending it behind your new standing leg. Change your direction to follow the ball’s new path.

Sonic Turn

With one foot, step ahead of the ball and flick the ball with the instep of the other. Swing your other foot around and pivot on the foot that stepped ahead of the ball to push the ball away. Following the ball in a new direction is a good idea.

CR7 Special

From out to in, roll one foot over the ball. Take a few steps forward to place yourself in the ball’s path. Allow it to run behind the foot that did not roll over the ball and trap it in a ‘rabona’ posture with your initial foot. Place one foot on either side of the ball, then knock it onto your standing foot with the instep of the same foot. To allow the ball to pass your original foot, knock it back with your standing foot and perform a stepover.

CR7 Combo

Push the ball in front of you by rolling your foot over it. As the ball continues to roll, step over it with your other foot. Throw that same foot back over the ball and roll it with your other foot from out to in.
