The player has several records at this ground, but this record has made everyone’s mind blown. The Indian run-getter scored 33 fours and 9 sixes in the match. Rohit Sharma made it to the end of the match when he fell out of the last ball at 49.6 over, by Mahela Jayawardene catch. He ended it with a brilliant score of 404/5 for the team. It was Rohit Sharma who was responsible for such a high run rate. India won that match by 153 runs and Rohit was given the title of ‘Player of The Match’. That incredible moment will never be forgotten by the Indian cricket fans.
