First time after 5 and a half years, Sachin Tendulkar wore his pads and gloves to play leather ball cricket. Sachin faced 5 balls from professional Women’s Cricketer, Elyse Perry who represents Australia on an international level. It was a charity match which was in favour of the Australian Bushfires. The fund was raised to help the people of Australia who were hit by these bushfires. They even invited two female firefighters on the ground to be a part of the Women’s team for the day.

Sachin, who is also known as the God Of Cricket, took to his Instagram on 29th December 2020 and shared his images of wearing an Australian jersey. Sachin’s post had a caption that said, ‘One of the rare times when I played “in yellow”, rather than against it. #throwback’. Sachin’s fans from all over India as well as from overall the world expressed their joy and happiness after looking at this post from Sachin.
