Playing in IPL for a local franchise is a different thing, but when it comes to performing at an international level, you will always require a special skill and talent. Shardul Thakur and Deepak Chahar have been impressive in the T20s for India but they haven’t got enough chances to perform since the more senior bowlers like Bumrah, Shami and Bhuvneshwar are still in good touch. Both Shardul and Deepak are bowlers who focus on line and length and using the new ball to swing it to their advantage, unlike other bowlers who depend on their pace.

Shardul has been doing for Chennai Super Kings as one of their prime bowlers. He is very talented as he can use pace variations very effectively and is very good in the death overs. However, when it comes to T20, even the best of the best bowler can go for a lot of runs. Shardul as well has an average economy in the T20 and hence the Indian team management decides to depend on more seasoned bowlers. Hence it will be vague to say the Shardul is Underrated.

Deepak Chahar, who is also playing for Chennai Super Kings has been a good performer, especially in the powerplay. He has the ability to swing the ball in both ways and makes the batsman dance during the initial overs. However, he has been depending on that skill a lot and ends up going for a lot of runs against a good batsman. With more practice and increasing his pace, Chahar can be turned into a great bowler.
