Akhanda 2 Release Put On Hold With Eros Filing Lawsuit

Eros International Media Limited (“Eros”), after filing an appeal with the Madras High Court, suffered a significant setback when the Court ordered that the production house's planned film, Akhanda 2, be halted. The issue has its roots in a previous arbitration decision that ruled in Eros’s favour against 14 Reels Entertainment Private Limited. Although Eros is entitled to about ₹28 crore under the award, the company states that it has not been paid and that enforcement has not been successful despite several attempts.
