Anupam Kher to Direct Saaransh 2; Mahesh Bhatt Returns as Writer

More than four decades after Saaransh introduced him to Hindi cinema, Anupam Kher is set to return to the franchise in a new role. The veteran actor will direct Saaransh 2, with the film expected to go on floors next year. Confirming the development, Kher shared that the sequel is being planned for next year. The script is being developed by Mahesh Bhatt along with his writing team, Surhita Das and Shweta.
