Bollywood director Ram Kamal Mukherjee's Bengali film Lokkhikantopur Local grabs highest rating of 9.8 at Imdb. This seems the highest rating compared to all Bengali films released on 2025. He even beats the rating of his own debut film Binodiini Ekti Natir Upakhyan which released worldwide in Jan 2025. The film garnered critical acclaim and also marked reunion of Bengali legends Kaushik Ganguly, Rituparna Sengupta and Paoli Dam as actor trio for the first time on screen.
