Amith Dolaawat is happy to be working with Rajan Shahi and his banner, Director’s Kut Productions, as he enters the Star Plus show Anupamaa. Amith will play the role of the celebrity chef Kunal Inaamdar, a character who will be loved by viewers.
Amith has had a fascinating journey with Rajan Shahi’s banner, as he played one of the major roles in the initial days of Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai.
Talking about his long-standing association with Rajan Shahi and his shows, Amith told us, “It feels great to be back at Director’s Kut Productions after Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, where I opened the show for them as Alok, Akshara’s silent lover in college. The character later came back to the show after 6 years for a strong story that culminated in a marriage track with Muskaan.”
“I have worked with Rajan Sir not just as a producer of these shows, but also have been fortunate to have been directed by him in shows like Milllee on Star Plus and Betiyaan on Zee,” he added.
Amith is happy to have got an opportunity to work with the banner again, saying, “I enjoyed shooting, and the scenes are really entertaining. I am sure the audience would love this guy called Kunal Inaamdar, a celebrity chef.”
Speaking about the experience of working with ace actors like Rupali Ganguly and Sachin Tyagi, he said, “Working with good actors always elevates the performance, scenes and adds value to the show, and the same was my experience here while working with Rupali and Sachin Tyagi. Kunal, my character, is sure to bring a smile to the faces of the audience and leave a happy taste of goodness in their hearts.”
His cameo role in Anupamaa is sure to win hearts. Amith cited that a cameo role in a show of Director’s Kut Productions can always grow big in the minds of audiences, talking about the way they are written.
Amith will also be seen in the upcoming series on Waves OTT, titled Nari Shakti, which will be the love story of an army man.
