Actress Utkarsha Naik, who plays Siddhi Mata in Zee TV‘s Tumm Se Tumm Tak, produced by Studio LSD, has opened up about the intense upcoming wedding sequence in the show and the major twists awaiting viewers.

Talking about the storyline after the engagement sequence, Utkarsha revealed that the wedding track will bring shocking revelations and emotional turmoil for the characters. “The engagement has just happened, so the countdown will begin now. Everyone is wondering what exactly is going to happen at the wedding. A major explosion is about to take place, and many secrets are going to be revealed,” she shared.

The actress further explained how Siddhi Mata continues to stand as a spiritual guide and protector for Anu throughout the journey. “Siddhi Mata, who acts as Anu’s protective shield, will definitely keep warning Anu and dropping hints that she needs to remain prepared. She will have to be so prepared and strong for all of this that no crisis can shake her,” Utkarsha said.

She also hinted that the upcoming revelations from the past could completely change Anu’s life. “Because the things in the backdrop — the secrets from the past — are such that if Anu isn’t mentally prepared, they could break her. Siddhi Mata’s role has always been to warn Anu, provide her with a protective shield, and convey the Goddess’s blessings to her. That is the storyline currently unfolding,” she added.

Utkarsha also spoke about how naturally she connected with the character of Siddhi Mata and its visual representation. “Yes, absolutely, I have seen many such women. In Maharashtra, we often see women walking around with these masks and carrying baskets on their heads, so I was familiar with it. As soon as this role came to me, it didn’t take me long to relate to it. I immediately understood what was required and how it should be done,” she shared.

The actress further revealed the physical challenges she initially faced while shooting for the role, especially because of the heavy basket used as part of her costume. “Initially, the basket was extremely heavy. It was way too heavy, so I requested it, saying that while authenticity has its place, lifting such a heavy basket daily for a soap opera would become very difficult for me. The creative team and the production house understood right away and reduced its weight. Some parts that were originally made of pure brass were substituted with lighter, simulated materials to make it easier for me,” Utkarsha concluded.
