The beloved television actor Arjit Taneja has got us in awe with his latest dump. The actor recently jumped on the viral ‘2016 throwback’ Instagram trend and shared a bunch of photos from 2016, delighting fans with the throwback glimpse, sparking nostalgia.
On Friday, January 16, Arjit posted a series of photos captioning it, “2016, the year it was (with a magnet emoji). The bunch of photos featured Arjit’s decade-younger self from working out in the gym to posing with his favorite Kumkum Bhagya team, including Sriti Jha, Shabir Ahluwalia, Shikha Singh, Leena Jumani, and others. In one of the photos, he also posed with his good friends Aly Goni and Charu Mehra. There were several special moments with his close friends and family.
And in one of the photos, he also shared a picture from an event that he joined with his on-screen wife, Mrunal Thakur. Arjit and Mrunal played husband and wife in the show Kumkum Bhagya, and their chemistry won hearts. While their track ended early, Arjit and Mrunal’s friendship is still as solid as a rock.
Re-sharing the nostalgic picture Arjit shared, Mrunal penned a heartfelt note in response that stole the spotlight. The note reads, “AJ AJ AJ @arjittaneja. A decade of friendship, countless memories.”
Arjit Taneja was last seen on Star Plus’s Jhanak, but he left the show within a few months, while Mrunal Thakur was last seen in the 2025 film Son of Sardaar 2.
