On 14 November, a day celebrated around the world as Children’s Day, IWMBuzz.com decides to speak to a few of the extraordinary talents of young performers in the entertainment industry. These gifted children engage us through the characters they play. They are loved and adored, and their fanbase is a sheer example of that!! We have Sanchi Bhoyar, who is presently enthralling one and all in the role of Binddii in the Colors TV show Binddii, produced by Palki Malhotra and Saurav Tiwari’s Streetlamp & Beehive Collective LLP.

IWMBuzz.com talked to child actor Sanchi to know her views on being a performer at such a young age. We also quizzed her on the special privilege she wants on the D-day.

Read on.

How is it to play the titular role in Binddii? Share your happy moments on the set.

Sanchi is similar to Binddii in many ways. Yes, Sanchi is naughty, while Binddii is very innocent. So I need to work more to get the innocence of Binddii right. We have a great bond on the sets of Binddii, as we are one big family now.

When we are not shooting, we play games. We talk and have fun together. We have our food together. All these moments will remain with me forever as my happy moments.

Performing as an actor at such a young age, how does it feel for you?

My dream of becoming an actress has started at a very young age. When I go to public places, people recognise me as Binddii. I love these moments. My parents and grandparents feel proud when people call me by my screen name.

On this special day for children, what is it that you want to tell kids?

On Children’s Day, I want to tell all the kids to do whatever interests them. They should not try to copy others, but work on what they like.

If you are given the chance to change one rule in your school/set, what will it be?

My school’s name is Appasaheb Bhaurao Patel English Medium School, Satara. I come from Satara. I like the rules of my school, and I don’t want to change any of them. I want to add one rule in my school and all other schools. Like we have classes for all subjects, I would want to add a new class or period on acting, where teachers will teach kids about the nuances of acting.

How would you describe a perfect day for yourself?

When I don’t have shooting, I work out in the morning. I have my breakfast and go to school. After returning, I do my homework and play with my friends. Later, I go to my dance class. I end my perfect day with my parents and my younger sister, spending time with them.

On the days when I am shooting, I am on the set the whole day. My day becomes perfect in the shoot ambience as I like it.

What are your future goals?

I want to become a good actress when I grow older. I am working towards that, and that is my focus right now.

Who is your hero/inspiration in life?

My favourite hero is Riteish Deshmukh. But now, I want to be the way I am. I don’t have any inspiration as of now. But my biggest support system is my family, my parents. My speciality as an actor is a God-given gift for me. I love dancing, and this is how my journey as an actor started. I am the first actor in my family. Happy Children’s Day!!
