Simple Kaul, who has appeared in shows like Kutumb, Shararat, Oye Jassie, Yam Hain Hum, Dilli Wali Thakur Gurls, and Ziddi Dil Maane Na, sees sustainability as a responsibility, not just a passing trend.

Simple says she tries to make eco-friendly choices every day. “Everyone of us must adopt sustainable habits,” she says. She prefers natural and environmentally responsible products whenever she can. She also works with a tableware brand that uses pine wood and pine needles, which supports sustainability and helps prevent forest fires by clearing dry waste from forests.

Simple believes that small changes add up to make a big difference. She uses eco-friendly products and talks about responsible consumption on social media, hoping to set a good example. “I endorse such brands because it’s a good influence,” she explains, stressing the value of thoughtful endorsements.

Looking at the bigger picture, Simple shares an idea for collective action. “If there’s one global movement I would want, it’s that every person should plant a tree on their birthday. It should be mandatory,” she says. She believes this could make the environment much cleaner and greener.

Simple also feels strongly about civic responsibility in India. She supports stricter penalties for littering in public places, rivers, and seas. “We need accountability if we truly want our country to look beautiful,” she adds.

Simple also thinks about the social impact of her work. She has turned down endorsements for things like gaming and lottery apps because she feels they can have a negative influence, especially by encouraging bad financial habits.

For Simple Kaul, being in the spotlight means having a responsibility. She says, “We have the power to influence people, and we must use it to encourage good habits and positive change.”
