Madalsa Sharma Chakraborty is undoubtedly one of the most talented and gorgeous actresses of the entertainment industry at the moment. She has acted in movies across all languages like Hindi, Telugu, Kannada, Tamil, German & Punjabi and recently, she slayed it big time with her debut TV show titled Anupamaa.
Throughout the history of the entertainment fraternity, we have seen many actors make a transition from movies to TV but not many have shown the guts to move from movies to TV. Madalsa Sharma Chakraborty is someone who has proven that stereotypes don’t work for her in the industry and it’s all about good script. Add to that, she is the daughter-in-law of the legendary Mithun Chakraborty. When asked about whether she gets any advice from Mithun in terms of work and script choices, Madalsa said and we quote,
“Well, on & off, we do have such creative discussions but I must admit that my family supports me entirely in all my decisions that I take. As far as my father-in-law is concerned, it’s a blessing to have someone like him who’s a guiding force and a legend himself. He is extremely supportive of my work and even before I decided on Anupamaa, he supported me entirely and asked me to go ahead with what my heart says. It’s a blessing to have a supportive family like this when as a woman, you have to manage both your personal life and professional life effectively at the same time.”
