Actor Angad Hasija, who plays the role of Yashvardhan in Zee TV’s Tumm Se Tumm Tak, opens up about the bonds that have shaped his life and career, sharing how true friendship transcends competition and industry boundaries.

Reflecting on his journey, Angad shares, “It has been around 18 to 19 years in this industry. When I first stepped in, I was very raw, but I have grown immensely by learning from my co-stars over the years. On almost every show I’ve been a part of, I’ve been fortunate enough to build a great gang of friends.”

When it comes to his inner circle, Angad emphasises that depth matters far more than numbers. He speaks fondly of his two closest friends—actor Kinshuk Mahajan and diamond merchant Mohit: “Kinshuk Mahajan and I started our journeys together back in 2008 with Sapna Babul Ka… Bidaai. Today, we aren’t just friends; we are family. His wife sees me as a brother-in-law, and there’s a deep emotional connection between us. We have never viewed each other as competitors—we are brothers for life who always support each other and stand by one another.”

Angad also highlights the importance of having friends outside the entertainment industry to keep him grounded, “My other best friend, Mohit, is not from showbiz. I met him 15 years ago. I would want to narrate an incident when we were at a party. Back then, he had no idea I was an actor until people started coming up to me for photos! Mohit is a guide in my life. His completely unfiltered advice and honest conversations bring me so much clarity and happiness.”

For Angad, the true test of friendship lies in honesty and non-judgmental support. “Real friends are those who aren’t afraid to point out your drawbacks, yet never judge you for who you are. Friendship is purely a connection of hearts. I haven’t been able to connect with anyone as deeply as I have with Kinshuk and Mohit, and I’m truly thankful to have them in my life.”
