Amandeep Sidhu embodies Sneha Sharma, the fearless, justice-driven force of nature fighting for her family’s dignity, in Zee TV‘s popular show, Ganga Mai Ki Betiyan, produced by Dreamiyata Entertainment. Her performance has been highly impactful, drawing viewers’ attention. The chemistry of the lead pair, Siddhu (Sheizaan Khan) and Sneha, has received warmth and love from the fans. While their romance was sublime, Sneha now stands in a dilemma, as she is pained by the deceit of the very man she loved.
Recently, Zee TV and the makers launched a special fan-engagement initiative, #SnehaKiAawaz, inviting audiences to cast their vote and decide Sneha’s next move. Fans have been given two choices -‘Rishta Nibhaye’ or ‘Rishta Tod De’ to determine whether Sneha should forgive Siddhu and give their relationship another chance, or walk away for good.
We at IWMBuzz.com talked to Amandeep on the story progression and asked her to speak about the dilemma that Sneha faces. She says, “Right now, Sneha is standing at a crossroads. On one side is her love for Sidhu, a man she knows genuinely loves, and on the other is the betrayal she feels after discovering that such a huge truth had been hidden from her. For Sneha, honesty and trust are not just words; they are the foundation of every relationship. That’s why she is struggling to decide whether she should forgive Sidhu and give their marriage another chance or choose her self-respect and walk away.”
Voicing her love for Sneha, Amandeep says, “What makes Sneha’s journey even more special for me is the incredible love she has received from viewers. The way audiences have connected with her emotions and stood by her through every challenge has truly made Sneha a ‘ghar ghar ki beti’.
