In today’s fast-paced world, Guru Purnima has evolved into a universal day of gratitude and self-reflection. While rooted in tradition, contemporary life views the day as an opportunity to pause and acknowledge the people and moments that help us navigate life’s complexities—our parents, school teachers, career mentors, trusted friends, and even our own life experiences. Versatile actor Mishkat Varma, known for his charming screen presence and nuanced performances in shows like Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya, Nisha Aur Uske Cousins, and Kavya – Ek Jazbaa, Ek Junoon, is all set to captivate audiences once again. He takes on the lead role of Ram in Zee TV’s upcoming fiction show, Dilon Ki Ram Leela (produced by Cockcrow & Shaika Entertainment). Paired opposite Aastha Sharma, Mishkat portrays Ram—a grounded, empathetic, and family-oriented man who serves as the trusted PA to a wealthy family.
As the spirit of Guru Purnima brings focus to gratitude, mentorship, and learning, lead actor Mishkat Varma took a moment to reflect on the unspoken guides who have shaped his journey both as a person and as an actor, and shared, “I’ve always believed that life has its own way of teaching us the lessons we need, often when we least expect them. Along the way, I’ve also been fortunate to have friends who have stood by me through every high and low, guiding me with their honesty, support, and perspective.”
He added, “At different stages of my journey, they’ve been no less than gurus, helping me become a better person. Every experience and every meaningful friendship has shaped who I am today. This Guru Purnima, I’m grateful to the people and the moments that continue to teach me, inspire me, and help me grow every single day.”
As Mishkat embarks on his new journey with the Zee TV show Dilo Ki Raam Leela, he brings life lessons to the set and sees every opportunity as a chance to evolve as an artist.
