Talented actress Tinaa Dattaa is back to the grind of playing the lead on TV with &TV and Balaji Telefilms’ horror drama show Daayan.
Tinaa has come a long way post her fabulous portrayal in Colors’ Uttaran. She was recently seen in Karamphal Data Shani, again on Colors.
Tinaa is happy and satisfied with her comeback vehicle Daayan and tells IWMBuzz.com, “I was looking at a main lead and a substantial role. The era of Naagin and Daayans are here to stay. Audiences love the drama related with supernatural elements. And for me, choosing the show was very easy, as it was from the Balaji Telefilms camp. There was no reason at all to not take it up.”
Tinaa is elated with the response that Daayan has got in its first week ratings (0.8). “I am extremely happy with the response. Ekta Kapoor exactly knows the pulse of the viewers and what will be accepted by them. This is the best gift I could have got in the year 2018.”
On being loved by her fans, Tinaa exclaims, “Fans love me in the role and the feedback I have been getting is really good. The show demands a lot of hard work from me, but all is worth it. I am having a blast.”
Ask her about the best compliment she has received for her Daayan comeback and she is quick to say, “The best compliment that really gave me a smile was when I was told that I look really fresh in Daayan.”
Tinaa who had a phobia to heights before her stint in Khatron Ke Khiladi is thankful to the reality show for helping her get rid of the fear. “My harness sequences in Daayan are the toughest to perform. But I am thankful that I do not have the fear for heights now.”
