How do you define Mogra?

Mogra is a clever, money-minded, and manipulative woman who dreams of marrying Ashish, Mahadev’s elder son, to secure wealth and status. Her mean attitude and selfish motives make her one of the most dramatic characters in the family.

How do you identify with the character?

I don’t have personal motives, greed in relationships, or emotions like Mogra. Characters like her are written with ambition, manipulation, and self-interest to create drama in a story.

Mogra’s feelings for Ashish are complicated. She often struggles between real love and her ambition for a wealthy life.

How did you prepare for the role?

To prepare for Mogra’s role, I focused on understanding her ambition, insecurities, and obsession with wealth and status. She isn’t just mean for no reason — she believes money and marriage into a powerful family will give her the life she wants.

The three girls in the show – Narmada, Rajji and Mogra, are very different from one another. How do you see it?

Narmada and Rajji are complete opposites, and that’s what makes their dynamic so interesting. Narmada is emotional, grounded, and values relationships, while Rajji is more outspoken, practical, and strong-headed. Their different personalities often create conflict, but at the same time, they balance the family in their own ways. Mogra, as I said above, comes with her own intentions.

How is your rapport with all? Who do you gel with the best?

Mogra shares a very close bond with Lajwanti, and it is almost like a real mother-daughter connection on set. Since many of our scenes are together, we naturally spend a lot of time rehearsing, chatting, and enjoying behind-the-scenes moments. That comfort and understanding really help our chemistry look natural on screen.

Will Mogra ever love Ashu, or is it a game of money only for her?

Mogra’s feelings for Ashish are complicated. Deep down, she does have genuine emotions for him, but her mindset has been heavily influenced by Lajwanti, who constantly pushes her to value money, status, and security above everything else. Because of that, Mogra often struggles between real love and her ambition for a wealthy life.

What are your expectations from the role and the show?

Mogra is a layered character, so I’m excited to explore her emotional and ambitious side. I hope Mahadev and Sons connect with audiences and keep them invested in Mogra’s journey.
