Rashmi Gupta the talented actress who plays the antagonist in Bindiya Sarkar the Dangal show recently got the opportunity to don the look of a very old woman for a sequence.
Rashmi who is known for her portrayals in the recent shows Balika Vadhu 2, Saath Nibhaana Saathiya 2 donned the look of an old woman selling flowers. The sequence was the one where her character tried to kill Bindiya, the protagonist in the show.
Says Rashmi, “I am happy to have got this opportunity of playing an elderly role for this show. However, the process of growing old for the scene was scary. Prosthetic makeup was used which was really painful.”
“Though it was for only one sequence, the overall experience of donning this role as an actor was very good. But to experience the old age was sad,” she adds.
Rashmi has always taken up challenging roles, and this role offers her a lot of scope.
“I am enjoying my stint in Bindiya Sarkar. I get to do quite a lot of stuff on set, and this gives me a new kick. As an actor, it gives a new high when I am offered such challenges at work,” she ends.
