From focussing on the unique love story of Fateh and Tejo, Udaariyaan is now the love tale of Ekam and Nehmat. Their journey and hurdles faced in love are what is being depicted now.

This is your first big role in the lead. How is the feeling like?
The feeling is hard to describe!!! It’s a mixture of so many emotions! I am happy, and excited every single day! Curious and also nervous at the same time !!
You are taking forward the big legacy of FaTejo’s love story. So how was it when you heard about the generation leap and focus on Fateh and Tejo’s daughters?
Taking forward this amazing legacy is very tough, but I am glad we are doing this! I thought it was very fascinating to add a new perspective to the show keeping it attached to its initial core!
The chemistry of Ekam and Nehmat has been a hit from scene one. How would you describe it?
I am glad that we did it!!! Ekam and Nehmat are fond of each other and will always be and I guess that’s why people connect with it!
How is it working with Hitesh?
Working with Hitesh is actually great! I would say I found a great friend in my co-actor! We laugh, we help, and we fight! We are a part of a big loving family.
How is your bond with Sonakshi?
Ohhh! That’s actually fun! She is super fun and an amazing actor too. I think we share a lot with each other and the best part is we three girls have a lot in common which created the comfort and fun zone from day one.
How is it shooting away from home, in Chandigarh?
Shooting can be hectic and rough sometimes. But at the end of the day, all that matters is that I love shooting.
How has the response been for the generation leap and story ahead?
The generation leap was a mixture of lot of opinions. Few people likes it and few were against it. But with time, I guess a lot of people are loving it. The story ahead is very interesting and intriguing. I hope people would love it.
What can viewers look forward to in the Ekam Nehmat love story?
By this time, it is clear that both of them cannot stay without each other. They are soulmates. They will have their obstacles. But as of now, I cannot elaborate on this one.
