From reality shows to saas-bahu dramas on TV, how has life treated you as a celebrity and performer?
Life has been quite an incredible journey so far. From being part of reality shows to now exploring the world of daily dramas, I have learned that every phase brings its own challenges and rewards. Television has given me a platform to grow as an actor and connect with audiences on a personal level. I am grateful for the love I have received and for the opportunity to constantly evolve as a performer.
I look for stories that make me feel and make others feel, too.
This is your third show with Balaji Telefilms. How important is this part of yours in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi in your acting career?
Balaji Telefilms feels like home to me; they have played a huge role in shaping my career. This particular role in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi is very special because it’s layered, emotionally complex, and allows me to explore a different side of my craft. I see it as a defining point in my journey where I can truly challenge myself and grow as an actor.
Sharing screen space with eminent artists of huge calibre, what are you eager to learn from them?
It’s an honour to share the screen with such talented and seasoned actors. Every day on set feels like a masterclass, whether it’s observing how they prepare for a scene, the nuances they bring to their characters, or how effortlessly they command presence on screen.
Take us through your character and its layers.
Without revealing too much, my character is someone who enters the story with a strong purpose. Parth is charming yet intense, driven by emotions but guided by a deep sense of loyalty. What drew me to this role was unpredictability. There’s a duality to him that keeps the audience guessing. You will see a mix of strength, vulnerability.
What are the kinds of roles that draw you?
I am drawn to characters that have depth and transformation. I love roles that challenge perceptions; something that’s not just about being the hero or the antagonist, but about portraying real human emotions. Whether it’s a grey character, an underdog, or someone with emotional complexity, I look for stories that make me feel and make others feel, too. I also like to experiment with characters and add my touch to the character, like I have done in my past couple of shows.
What are your immediate goals?
Right now, my focus is entirely on giving my best to Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. Beyond that, I want to continue experimenting with different genres, to explore OTT and films where storytelling has a different rhythm. My goal is to keep learning, keep performing, and never stop growing.
What can viewers see in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi after your important introduction?
My entry brings an interesting twist to the storyline; it shifts the dynamics between the lead characters and adds a new emotional layer to the narrative. Audiences can expect drama, intensity, and a lot of unexpected turns. I am excited for everyone to see how my character impacts the journey of the show.
