Eijaz Khan is a Balaji film discovery who got into acting. He has appeared in serials such as Punar Vivah – Ek Nayi Umeed – Vikrant Suryavanshi, Kya Hadsaa Kya Haqeeqat, Kesar, Koi Dil Me Hain, Kkusum, Kkavyanjali, Kyaa Hoga Nimmo Kaa. He recently spoke up about how he got started as an actor, how he’s managed to stay relevant as an artist for more than two decades, and the hardships he experienced growing up. “Best years in my life,” the Kkavyanjali actor recalls of his growing-up years, “but they were a bit tough too, but I wouldn’t alter anything about it.”

“I suppose whatever I am, or whatever I have figured out about myself has happened because of that,” Eijaz continues. “What I’ve realized now that I’m 46 is that I’m not like my father was when he was dealing with two teenagers. He gave it his all.” Did he mature considerably earlier than his age because of the obstacles he faced at home?

“I’d like to believe they would, but they don’t. I became too sensitive, and to be honest, I started working from the standpoint of a victim, which my brother did not. He is a strong and realistic man, and I still seek his advice. But there is a lot of awareness about how I felt back then, how I dealt with things back then, and I draw parallels between what I did back then and what I do now, and I compare them, and I try to see if my childhood trauma, or whatever traumas we face in our formative years, has put speed breakers and roadblocks in my growth and relationships now, and then I seek therapy. I try to understand those things better because it benefits me, my characters, my relationship, and my life,” Eijaz says.
