Bong beauty Debina Bonnerjee, who is known for her powerful roles of Sita, Mayuri and Devi Poulomi, in shows like Ramayan, Chidiya Ghar and Santoshi Maa respectively is making the most of her quarantine time. “I am spending my quarantine time by cooking different cuisines, catching up on web shows and also since ‘Ramayan’ is back on Dangal TV, we are watching our show daily and would urge everyone to watch with their family during this lockdown,” shares the actress.
She adds, “Since we have a lot of free time now with us, we are discovering and rediscovering a lot of things about each other. For instance, initially, Gurmeet was hesitant to get his hair cut but then since realized he wanted one, I made sure I cut his hair and this helped me discover that I could be a good hairstylist.”
Debina is glad that her show Ramayan is back on TV again, she adds, “We are extremely happy that our show is back on Dangal TV. We are grateful that during such times, people can watch our show with their families and enjoy their time. Watching Ramayan again is helping us relive those memories to the fullest. We don’t miss a single episode of Ramayan.”
Debina feels it is important for a couple to spend time at the same time give space to each other, she quips, “While there is no doubt that a couple is getting to spend a lot of their time together, however, it is equally important to have your own space to pursue personal activities and at the same time give equal space to your partner too. Therefore, one must read a book or cook some dishes. In our case, while Gurmeet reads a book, I prefer to cook some dish all by myself.”
On an end note, he shares a special message for fans: “This is the time where we have to think positively and abide by the rules laid on us by the government. This phase too shall pass. One should not lose hope and stay at home for the safety of themselves as well as others.”
