Aayushi Khurrana‘s engaging portrayal in Zee TV’s Jaane Anjaane Hum Mile is winning hearts. This International Yoga Day, Aayushi gets candid about how she maintains her inner equilibrium, why a rigid routine isn’t necessary to reap the benefits of wellness, and how a few mindful minutes can completely transform a chaotic day.

With long hours on set, making it a challenge to stick to traditional, hour-long fitness regimens, Aayushi has learned to adapt. Instead of abandoning her practice altogether, she chooses to maximise whatever small windows of time her shooting schedule allows. “I genuinely enjoy yoga and have always admired the peace and balance it brings,” Aayushi shares warmly. “However, with the hectic schedules that come with shooting, it can sometimes be difficult to practice it as regularly as I would like. But whenever I get the opportunity, I make sure to spend some time on yoga because it instantly helps me relax and recharge.”

For Aayushi, stepping onto the yoga mat functions as a necessary boundary between the noise of production and her own mental space. “It is one of the best ways to reconnect with yourself amidst a very busy lifestyle,” she explains.

As millions across the world roll out their mats to celebrate International Yoga Day, Aayushi wants to take the pressure off of beginners and busy professionals who feel they don’t have enough time for wellness. “On International Yoga Day, I would remind everyone that even a few minutes of yoga can have a massive positive impact on both your physical and mental well-being,” Aayushi concludes. “Don’t skip it just because you don’t have an hour. Give yourself those five or ten minutes—your mind and body will thank you for it.”

Cheers to body wellness this International Yoga Day!!
