As the leading lady of Star Plus’ Udne Ki Aasha, Neha Harsora lives life in the fast lane. Headlining a daily soap means navigating a relentless wheel of emotional scenes, quick wardrobe changes, and tight telecast deadlines. This International Yoga Day, Neha opens up about why the ancient practice is non-negotiable for her mental clarity, how she and her co-star Kanwar Dhillon champion the need to slow down, and why a simple 10-minute pause is all it takes to reclaim your peace.
For Neha, the biggest antidote to creative burnout has been learning the art of stillness. “One thing yoga has taught me is the importance of slowing down and being present,” Neha reflects. “With the fast-paced schedule of Udne Ki Aasha, it’s easy to keep moving from one scene to another without taking a single moment for yourself.”
The chaotic energy on set is something shared by the entire cast, and Neha reveals that she and her on-screen partner, Sachin (played by Kanwar Dhillon), frequently discuss the necessity of mental boundaries while working. “In fact, Sachin (Kanwar Dhillon) and I often talk about how important it is to find those small pauses during a hectic day,” Neha shares.
“Yoga helps me do exactly that. It keeps me grounded, drastically improves my focus, and constantly reminds me to listen to my body and my mind,” she adds.
For her, it’s about micro-habits and showing up for yourself, even in the briefest windows. “On International Yoga Day, I’d encourage everyone to take out even 10 minutes for themselves,” Neha urges as a closing thought. “Don’t overwhelm yourself thinking you need an hour. Sometimes, a simple, mindful pause can make all the difference in how you process your day.”
Be aware of body wellness and work towards it, this International Yoga Day!!
