Neha Mehta, who is presently seen in the role of Hetal in Sony SAB‘s Itti Si Khushi, produced by Rose Audio Visuals, is happy playing a character with whom she does not connect at all in real life.
Speaking about her character in the show, Neha tells us, “A character like Hetal helps me distinguish very clearly between the real me and my onscreen image. Hetal maintains her own ground and is bold with regard to her outspokenness. This angle in her attracted me to the role. I would not call Hetal a negative character. She is vibrant and full of layers, and that makes her different.”
Talking about the concept of the show, she says, “Itti Si Khushi aims to spread happiness through its concept. The show has the perfect blend of experienced actors and young talent. The show is being loved by audiences of all age groups, and this is where we score as a team.”
Neha is particularly happy with the way the audience has appreciated her presence in the show, and says this about the response to the role, “I am happy as I got to do something different. The character has been accepted well by the viewers. I am glad that I accepted this challenge in terms of playing Hetal. I attribute this to my growth as a performer.”
