Jia Narigara, who has made her mark with performances in shows like Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, Kumkum Bhagya, Ishq-e-Nadaan, and Jhanak, is now seen in the television show Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi on Star Plus. She plays the role of Samaira Virani, Karan and Nandini’s daughter, in this popular Balaji Telefilms show. The current track revolves around her, how her parents’ differences are taking a toll on her mental health.

Jia says, “It is a dream to work in a show like Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. My mother used to watch the show. She was very emotional when I got a chance to be a part of the show. I am so happy to be sharing screen space with Tulsi Ma’am, Mihir Sir, Karan Sir, Nandini Ma’am and the whole team. They are so helpful; whenever I need them, they are there to help me with my dialogues, acting skills, etc.”

Jia has a special mention for actress Smriti Irani, and says, “She is a very big name. I was scared to be in her presence initially. When I started talking to her, I found her very sweet. She is very grounded and helpful.”

Post the leap in the show, Jia was clueless whether she would get a chance to return to the show again. “Soon after, it was shown that we shifted to the USA. When I got to know that I was getting back to the show, I was so happy and was literally crying. Tears simply rolled out, and I could not stop myself. I was so emotional as I did not believe that I would get a chance again. When it happened, it felt great to be on the set.”
