Television actress Shweta Tiwari, who rose to fame with Kasautii Zindagii Kay, is returning to television after a gap of three years, with Sony Entertainment Television’s upcoming show, Mere Dad ki Dulhan.
The show also stars Varun Badola and Anjali Tatrari.
Talking about her return, she says, “I am coming back on the television screens after 3 years and I have selected Mere Dad ki Dulhan as my comeback because it is a very different character, portraying a lot of emotions, and is hilarious at the same time. My character of Guneet is a relatable one, as we find such characters everywhere. I love stepping into unique characters each time, and this is what I am looking forward with Mere Dad ki Dulhan. For my look in the show, the makers didn’t want my long hair, hence I am keeping it short. My characteristics are that I’m an outspoken, straight-forward and full of life person, in short, a ‘Jhalli’ and I just want to portray the same as the normal person that I am.”
