Micckie Dudaaney who is presently seen in the &TV show Santoshi Maa Sunayein had earlier graduated from the Michigan State University and had bagged the certification for Screenplay Writing.

Now, Micckie has gone a step further and has achieved certification in Direction from the renowned Whistling Woods International.

Talking about the same, Micckie tells IWMBuzz.com, “From the time I started acting in 2004 for my first show Saarrthi, I was all along into acting. I was very much inclined about what’s happening behind the camera; so whenever I used to get time between the shots, I never used to go back to my makeup room. I just used to sit on the set, see the monitor, observe what the director is doing, what the cameraman is doing etc. I used to ask questions to my director and cameraman. When I got this opportunity to do the screenwriting course during the lockdown, I grabbed that opportunity, and later, I wanted to take direction. So I saw this course on Whistling Woods and enrolled in it. I’m glad that I could successfully complete both the courses and let’s see what it has in the future for me. I’m really excited about these two things, especially direction.”

Earlier, Micckie has completed the Screenplay Writing and is certified in it. “I did the screenplay writing because writing has also been one of my passions. So I wanted to improve myself and that’s why I did in the course of writing. I always thought that if I write something I want to direct it. The thought was that I can put across the point on the screen very clearly because I have the vision. That’s why I thought direction would be a good course to add on to my credit also.”

Ask him how easy or tough it is for an actor to accomplish these goals and he says, “It’s just about the passion; if you have passion, nothing is difficult. These courses were not really difficult for me because I already had that passion for writing and direction. But if somebody doesn’t have that and wants to get into that just for the sake of writing or just for the sake of direction, I think then it would be very difficult. It is not easy to cope up with an ever-changing scenario and ever-changing technologies. You have to know the entire scenario how you put a scene on paper and later from paper to on-screen and also later take it the edit table.”

Best of luck, Micckie!!
