On Friendship Day, actor Raghav Tiwari, currently essaying the lead role of Veer Chauhan in Zee TV’s Lakshmi Niwas, opened up about his inner circle, his dynamic with co-stars, and what true friendship means to him in an industry constantly on the move.
Unlike the vast social networks often associated with showbiz, Raghav prefers keeping his circle tight and grounded with childhood friends who have stood by him through every phase of life. “I don’t have a huge circle. I have 3 or 4 friends whom I’ve known since childhood, so I really don’t have to run any ‘litmus test’ with them. They’ve been with me through thick and thin, and I trust them with my life,” Raghav shares.
Reflecting on his personality and how he navigates relationships, he adds, “As an introvert, I tend to hover around my own bubble of friendship. All my core friends are outside the industry. We all have our own wars to fight—for some it’s victory, and for others, it’s not. That’s an inevitable course we all have to go through.”
Expressing gratitude toward his closest pillars, he says, “I want to thank my true buds, Abhishek Francis and Muskan Gupta, for being there with me through every curve and turn of life. They’ve witnessed my entire journey and have always been my support system.”
While his core group remains outside the acting world, Raghav shares a vibrant bond with his current co-stars on the sets of Lakshmi Niwas. “All my co-actors are bomb,” Raghav remarks with a smile. “Recently, it’s been Akshita Mudgal and Sanjiv Jotangia Sir from Lakshmi Niwas. Be it on or off camera, our conversations are always about artistic graphs, shopping, or just catching up—so the vibe stays pretty much the same everywhere.”
For Raghav, the craft itself serves as a constant, reliable ally throughout his journey in entertainment. “Since I’ve been a part of this industry, I consider my will, art, script, and the camera to be my true friends,” he concludes.
