How excited are you to be a part of Ishq Mein Marjawan 2 and what made you say yes to the project?

I am really excited as it is a thriller series and I have never been a part of such a show before. Whenever we sit for a script reading at every point the story is thrilling and intriguing. Honestly, I am nervous but that is normal I guess. I wanted to try something new and explore another genre. When Mamta ma’am (Patnaik) briefed me about the show I really felt that I should take it up. The narration of the story was amazing. Audiences will get to see something unexpected which will make the show more successful.

Do you have any pressure as you are doing a sequel to a hit show?

I won’t call it pressure but I am nervous. I would want audiences to love season 2 like season 1. I hope audiences love our story and support and love us the same way.

How is your rapport with your co-stars Vishal Vashishtha and Rrahul Sudhir?

It is really nice and fun. When we are doing our scenes, it is very professional. We bond well and it is always good to do scenes with Vishal and Rrahul and other co-stars as well. I am happy to be working with such a great team.

Till what extreme can you go in love?

I don’t have a specific answer to this. I will be extremely loyal and unconditionally in love. My relationship would be very important to me hence I won’t take anything lightly I am sure.

Are you scared of shooting during the COVID-19 pandemic?

We are doing everything with precautions on set still there is always little fear inside you. I am doing everything that I should be doing and taking the utmost care on set. I think this is new normal so we have to move forward with this now.

How did you spend your quarantine time?

I was in Mumbai alone with my house help and for a little while, I went home to be with my family. It was a good phase. I never had a major restlessness period I would say. I am happy that I didn’t panic or get anxious in this difficult phase. I am glad that I could keep myself sane and productive at the same time.

What is the biggest lesson that this industry has taught you over the years?

Talent and hard work never go wasted this is what I have learnt over the years. You will definitely get the result of your hard work.

Any final message?

I just want to say that please watch our show as it will be intriguing and will keep you hooked throughout. I am sure you will love it.
