The whole nation knows who Kapil Sharma is. His shows Comedy Nights With Kapil And The Kapil Sharma Show both were the most-watched shows on television. He started his career to become a singer and had participated in Indian Idol. After which Kapil became a part of The Great Indian Laughter Challenge and began his career as a comedian. He appeared as the winner of the show in 2007 and continued to make people laugh by appearing on comedy shows as participants such as Comedy Circus and went on to stand first in six seasons of the show. Due to his fame, Kapil was seen hosting the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhla Jaa season 6 and another comedy show Chote Miyan.


It was in 2013 that Kapil Sharma established his brand on television by producing the show Comedy Nights with Kapil, which aired on Colors Tv. With his growing fame and achievements, he was given the opportunity to host the 60th Filmfare awards in 2015, which he hosted along with Karan Johar. After ‘Comedy Nights with Kapil’, Sharma produced another family entertaining show ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ which ended in 2016. Kapil Sharma was then seen on the movie screens with his first role in the movie Firangi in 2017.
