Akshay Kharodia who is presently enthralling his fans in the role of Dev Pandya in Star Plus’ show Pandya Store has seen good success in the field of commercial ads. Having done as many as 300 commercial ads, Akshay has tasted success on the big screen too with the film Kandy Twist.
He has also featured in an upcoming Hollywood as well as Bollywood film.
Now, Akshay is enjoying all the limelight with his first TV show Pandya Store. “This is a very different experience and I am happy to be part of this show. The script of Pandya Store is really good with great characterizations. It is a typical saas-bahu drama and its South version has done really well.”
Akshay confides in us that he was one of the first actors to be signed for the post leap phase of Pandya Store. “Since I was on board for a long time, I had gotten to know the nuances of Dev Pandya even before I started shooting. Though we did not get enough time to get into the skin of the character, we were rightly briefed on the character and that helped us a lot.”
“All the brothers who have joined post leap are more or less similar to what they play. The best part is that every character in the show has his or her place in the story line. We are all enjoying this phase.”
“The marriage drama and the story beyond should really pull the audience up and create interest. We are looking forward to good days with numbers and with the storyline picking up pace.”
“As for me, I am learning the nuances of being a TV actor. This is my first show on TV. There is a lot to learn.”
