Pearl started his career as a model and featured in commercials for popular brands such as- Maruti Ritz, Fair One Cream, Tata Docomo, Zen Mobile, Pizza Hut, Nestle Kit-Kat, etc. Although his father was very much against his decision of becoming an actor, Pearl still decided to follow his dreams, his father didn’t talk to him for almost 2 years, and even though Pearl was dejected he didn’t let it show.
He became an overnight sensation after playing the rock star “Abeer Malhotra” in Star Plus’ ‘Phir Bhi Na Maane…Badtameez Dil’. And no that’s not all, Despite his busy schedule, he still takes out time for his other passion, which is music. He is a complete package of music as he does singing, music composition and songwriting. Which for sure is quite impressive, he is a man of many talents.
Barun Sobti, the cute actor that we know today, didn’t always want to become an actor, in fact after his schooling he went on working for almost 7 years as an operational manager at a BPO, Jindal Telecom, New Delhi and he accidentally stepped into the field of acting when his close friend, ‘Karan Wahi’ was offered a role in the serial, ‘Shraddha’ but that didn’t work out for some reasons and Karan forwarded Barun’s images to the director and Barun got selected. Well, some people not only have all the looks but all the luck as well.
His acting of an arrogant business tycoon in the TV serial “Iss Pyaar Ko Kya Naam Doon?” earned him wide popularity and made him rise to fame.
