There’s a saying. ‘The true development of any country or state is judged best after seeing how they treat their animals’. And actor Pratham Kunwar’s noble yet adorable deeds are testimony to it. Pratham, vivacious in demeanour, is an actor based out of Mumbai. He has mesmerized audiences with impeccable performances in shows like Siya Ke Ram, Vighnaharta Ganesh, Mahakali, Adalat, among others.
His current part of Money Birla in Zee TV’s popular show Guddan Tumse Na Ho Payega is a talking point among fans. Undoubtedly, he’s focussed on his vocation, however, we are here to talk about his act of benevolence which is indeed laudable. It is with this intention today we narrate Pratham’s interesting friendship story with his pets, Maau (a cat) and Jaanu (a dog).
“Well, it was one random day when I was driving back home along with a friend. Suddenly, I saw a tiny kitten in front of my car and luckily, I applied brakes at the right time to avoid any unintentional harm. After seeing the cat, I wonder what struck me and I got so emotionally moved and drawn that I decided to bring it home with me. It’s been my best decision till date as we grew fonder of each other as days passed by.”
What a lovely story!!!
He continues: “Soon I realized that maybe he needs a companion. So, I got home a super cute Cocker Spaniel dog. I named my cute cat Maau & my little dog Jaanu.”
A cat and a dog living together?
“Yes, initially I was apprehensive, but when it comes to animals, nothing really matters apart from love. It’s been almost three years now and both of them are best of friends. They have fun all the time and are best of buddies. I cannot live without Jaanu & Maau.”
Pratham’s story is inspiring and is much needed in these trying times of negativity and we must congratulate him for having his heart in the right place.
In conclusion, he says, “I have realized that the best bonds in life are sometimes the ones which are most unexpected and that sums up my love for Jaanu and Maau.”
