Priya Thakur, who plays the titular role in Zee TV‘s popular show Vasudha, is elated that the show topped the ratings chart this week, with a TVR of 1.8. Amid the stiff competition coming from the ongoing IPL 2026, there has been a dip in the ratings of many TV shows. However, Vasudha managed to stay consistent amid top shows that witnessed a drop, resulting in Vasudha becoming the No 1 show this week. Arvind Babbal Productions produces the show.
Priya is ecstatic with the ratings this week, and we at IWMBuzz.com got her talking about the good phase in the show and more.
Says Priya, “Seeing Vasudha at number one this week feels really special and makes me very happy. We have all been working very hard, and it feels nice to see that the audience is loving our show. I feel thankful. This just makes me want to work even harder and give my best every day. Honestly, it feels like a big reward for all the long hours and efforts we put in as a team. I also want to share this moment with everyone who is a part of the show, including the fans, because this success belongs to all of us.”
The present track in the show makes it all the more exciting, with the Chauhan family gearing up for a big revenge against the evil forces of Karishma (Pratiksha Rai).
Talking about it, Priya expresses, “The present track is honestly being liked a lot by people. This track has enabled viewers to connect more and understand the story better. The story is really good, and the way Prabhat Singh Chauhan’s death (Bade Hukum) was shown in the show became a shocking point for the audience.”
The central character’s (Sachin Parikh) presumed death and the manner in which he made his comeback have been loved by one and all. “The current track is very strong, but in the future, the revenge we are going to take from Karishma will be on another level,” hints Priya on the upcoming track.
Speaking about Karishma’s evil ploys, Priya has this to say. “Karishma has had her fair share of battles with the Chauhans. Now, it’s our turn to settle the score with her. This time, it’s not just about putting her behind bars; we’ve already shown it multiple times for the audience. Instead, something entirely different is about to unfold.”
