There are a few colours that are attached to the gender, such as blue and pink, pink being the colour of girls. Although nowadays, we see the colour pink being incorporated in the men’s fashion world and there is no doubt that guys are really slaying in shades of pink, in an attempt to break the stereotypes of gender. It is a huge achievement! Really! #Respect. Girls have been moving away from the colour pink as they too are against the colour stereotype. But when a girl wears pink, she does feel comfortable, at home, well, that’s how we have been conditioned that ‘pink is for girls and it is difficult to break away from the culture. It surprises a lot of people when a girl is in an all-pink outfit, labelling them as ‘girly’ and whatnot, but here are Jennifer Winget and Ankita Lokhande going back to the roots, exploring the colour pink, and proving to us that being girly is nothing to be shy of.
